Country pub teases new conservatory as diners can’t wait to get inside

A country pub is continuing to operate at 50 per cent occupancy – during the construction of its new conservatory. The old conservatory had been in place at The Brownlow Inn, near Congleton, for 30 years.

But it was knocked down in August and the new conservatory is expected to welcome diners and drinkers from mid-October. It comes as the venue has applied for planning permission to double the size of its 18-space car park.

In a social media update, the Brownlow Heath Lane venue stated: “Slowly but surely we are coming to the end of our conservatory renovations. The foundations are down and we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are still open, however, we are operating at 50 per cent occupancy until mid-October when we hope to welcome you into our new conservatory. See you soon.”
