Join Honey Box Live for an unforgettable evening of live music from local rising stars at a unique venue.

Honey Box Live, the innovative live-streamed music show from Newcastle-under-Lyme, is excited to announce a special event at Keele University’s Clock House Courtyard. On Sunday, 1st September from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the team will host an extraordinary celebration of local music, featuring original performances by talented up-and-coming artists KOALA, Johntay, Mara Liddle, and FOARN.

Dedicated to spreading the joy of discovering new music and providing a platform for emerging artists, Honey Box Live offers a unique experience for both the live audience and viewers at home through streaming.

Experience the best of local music with KOALA, whose expansive, atmospheric sound is reminiscent of Pink Floyd. Their latest single, “Ceramic,” is a haunting and immersive journey. Mara Liddle captivates with her vibrant blend of hyperpop and UK garage. Her track “All Over The Place” showcases her energetic and magnetic presence. JohnTay delivers powerful, authentic performances with music that speaks to resilience and unity. FOARN brings high-energy indie/alternative rock to the stage, promising an electrifying live experience with their big melodic sound.

The event, delivered in partnership with Keele University, will kick off with live acoustic sets from local musicians, setting the stage for the main performances. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food and drink from local traders, making it a perfect evening out.

Honey Box Live has successfully promoted the local music scene with its previous seven series. Originating in Newcastle-under-Lyme, the show has become a beloved platform for grassroots music, helping artists gain the recognition they deserve.

Pete Herbert, co-producer of the Honey Box Live, explains why this pop-up gig is truly unique: “We are producing a TV show featuring local talent with all the excitement of a live broadcast experience for performers and audience alike. They all not only experience the process that goes into making a quality TV programme but are a very real part of it.  During the live show, they experience a full gig, enjoy artist interviews, and meet our presenters. The Keele Courtyard Pop-up gig will be even bigger. We’re inviting larger live audiences to create an electric atmosphere for these amazing musicians. With food and drink traders, acoustic sets, the live stream, and performances from KOALA, Foarn, Johntay, and Mara Liddle, it’s going to be an incredible event. Add the stunning setting of the Clock House Courtyard, and we’re really entering very special territory. We can’t wait!”
