A former North Staffordshire laundrette has gone from driers to dresses after being transformed into an ‘occasion wear’ shop. And The Guest List is ready to open up in Leek – with a familiar face behind the venture.
It comes after the one-time laundrette at the junction of West Street and Picton Street has been transformed. It will now play host outfits for mother of the bridge, ‘occasion wear’, wedding guest attire and prom dresses.
The shop will be run by Kelly Bates, who also owns Burslem-based Roberta’s Bridal. A post on The Guest List Facebook page states: “At The Guest List, we know just how special it is to find the perfect outfit for your daughter’s or son’s wedding.
“Kelly also owns Roberta’s Bridal and has been helping brides say yes to the dress for over 19 years – so we completely understand how important it is to feel confident, beautiful and cared for during such a special time. That’s exactly the kind of experience we’re bringing to every appointment here. We can’t wait to welcome you in!”
Details on the shop can be found on its Facebook page here, while appointments can also be made online here.
